Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, 1960's

Jackie O was soooooooo classy. I have been inspired by her ever since I first saw her on the cover of a book in Barnes & Noble.

I really admire how well she handled being the First Lady, and how well she handled her husband's death.

On top of that, she is absolutely gorgeous.

I don't think that I can really mimic Jackie O's style. She is one of those iconic figures that you just can't copy because they were so original.

That being said, I CAN draw inspiration from her wardrobe! I love how she paired her scarves with a coat and a sweater. Her accessories are limited to a wrist watch and the classic big round sunglasses!

I don't have those sunglasses, but I can reinterpret her scarf and coat into something more young and modern:

I don't think I have ever worn a coat at the end of June before! It was pretty fun bringing out my winter wardrobe for a thunderstorm!

I'm loving hanging out with my friends towards the end of the semester. I'm actually kind of sad that it is going to end. But at least I get to be here in Rexburg for the last little part of this adventure!

Happy weekend, everyone!

xoxo Miranda
